The information about Chronic Fatigue is just so complicated, so you’re going to be finding duplicate links on some pages.  I’ve tried to divide the information in to manageable categories.

Bedridden – See Homebound and Bedridden

Caregivers

Causes – See Suspected Causes

Clinical Trials –  If you’re interested in participating in a Clinical Trial or checking out what the latest research is this is the link for you.

Diet and Nutrition

Disability – Links to help understanding your disability options and how to apply, both for the USA and Internationally.  Not very much information on this page yet so I’m giving it a rating of [user 2]

Finding Doctors and Specialists – This is an awesome collection of information to find a doctor specializing in treating Chronic Fatigue ME/CFS.  Some of the information becomes outdated so if you find any please comment and let me know.  [user 5]

Doctor Resources – These resources are for doctors that want to understand ME/CFS better and possibly some good material to give your doctor. It’s unfortunate but we are still trying to educate our Practitioners and updating them on the latest and best information. Most doctors don’t understand ME/CFS and that is particularly true outside of the United State and we are still trying to debunk the treatments with them that have been proven to be either ineffective or outright dangerous for Chronic Fatigue sufferers.

Essential Toolkit for the Bedridden – If being bedridden isn’t bad enough it’s also incredibly complicated to manage. This page provides some resources for things as simple as organizing to more medical concerns.

Food – Foodbank resources and tips for cooking

Friends and Family Resources – Resources for friends and family

Functional Medicine – Functional Medicine strives to focus on making our lives more functional.  Doctors are hard to find that truly practice Functional Medicine and it seems that most practitioners are leaving traditional medicine and starting their own elite, expensive, concierge programs for Chronic Fatigue.  The prices seem to range from $3000 – $5000 a year to work with an MD, less expensive to work with other types of practitioners.   Additionally, most doctor profiles have “tick boxes” for their profiles so they simply click on the the box for practicing Functional Medicine.  Bottom line, it’s tough to find a true practitioner in traditional medicine.
